Consultation has concluded
At its December meeting, Leeton Shire Council endorsed the draft Leeton Shire Council Policy Register to be placed on public exhibition from Thursday 15th December 2016 until Tuesday 31st January 2017.
In line with appropriate good governance principles, a review of Council’s entire policy register has been completed by the Leeton Shire Council Senior Management team.
The changes that have been made largely focus on Council reflecting current practices, approaches and staying up to date with current local government legislation.
A further report will be presented to Council for final adoption of the policies taking into account any submission received during the community engagement period.
Please note that any submissions received will form part of a public report to Council with the name of the submitter being disclosed unless Council is requested to keep this information confidential.
