Consultation has concluded
Council is currently finalising the technical design for the Wade Avenue Upgrade prior to going to tender for the works.
The upgrade plans for the redevelopment of Wade Avenue include angle parking and general landscaping including a new median strip and paving.
At this stage, Council anticipate that works will commence in November and conclude prior to the 2020 Leeton SunRice Festival event.
To not impede traffic in Wade Avenue during the course of the works, it is Council’s intention to keep one lane open (with traffic management) throughout the duration of the works.
Council would now like to hear your thoughts about the final design for the upgrade works. It will take less than 5-minutes of your time via the survey question below.
