Draft Financial Hardship Policy and Draft Debt Recovery Policy

Leeton Shire Council endorsed its updated Draft Financial Hardship Policy and Draft Debt Recovery Policy at its July Ordinary Meeting.

Both policies reflect the requirements of the Office of Local Government Debt Management and Hardship Guidelines, as well as Leeton Shire Council’s commitment to fair, equitable and compassionate treatment of ratepayers and customers including those who are facing hardship, when recovering outstanding debts.

Council invites feedback on the Draft Financial Hardship Policy and/or Draft Debt Recovery Policy.

Submissions close at 5pm on 21 August 2020.
