Council is really looking forward to engaging meaningfully with our residents.

As active citizens who care deeply about Leeton Shire's future, you will be asked to register, supply your name, your key areas of interest and some important demographic detail.

With all consultation Council wants to be certain it is hearing from a fair representation of residents from across the Shire. For this reason, capturing information about people's location, age group and special interest identifiers is important.

In some cases, Council might be planning something very specific to a group of residents. We need to easily be able to get hold of these stakeholders for targeted conversations. This could include engagement about projects or planning in a particular geographic area (such as Whitton or Yanco or Leeton CBD) or projects and planning related to a particular interest group (such as youth or aged, disability or business etc). Having this information from the start helps make future engagement more streamlined and relevant and ensures that the whole exercise is as meaningful as possible.
