Leeton Community Strategic Plan 2035

Hello Leeton Shire – it’s time to focus on our future!

Leeton Shire has a bright future. As a community we know that achieving this takes a clear vision, strong leadership and dedicated commitment to see our aspirations delivered in full. The ‘Leeton on the Go’ – Our Community Strategic Plan 2030 was developed in 2016, after extensive consultation with residents across our Shire. Now it’s time to check in with you and update the community strategic plan to make sure the community’s plan for the future stays relevant and targets those areas that matter most.

What is the Community Strategic Plan?

The Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is a whole of community plan and is owned by the community. Council’s role is to bring together community stakeholders to build and achieve a sustainable plan for the future of our community. It outlines where our community wants to be in 2035, how we will get there, who will be involved and how we will know we have arrived at our community’s vision. It aims to celebrate what we love about Leeton Shire, enhance what could be made even better, and create new opportunities that work towards our long-term vision.

Why does the CSP need updating?

The Community Strategic Plan is our focus for the future – but over time things can change, and new priorities can emerge. Therefore, we’re seeking your input to update the plan and describe what you want the Shire to be in a decade or so and how this can be achieved.
